One of my favorite things about my job is getting to step into so many different worlds

I’ve been working with producer and animator Tim Jones from Health Nuts Media and The MBTA on videos that show how their public transit system has been updated for people traveling with disabilities.

I’ve gotten to witness firsthand the often-overlooked barriers that exist in our public spaces, and the difference it makes when those barriers are thoughtfully addressed.

What moved me most was not just documenting these efforts, but getting a glimpse into the daily experiences of people navigating the world in bodies that society isn’t always designed for. It reminded me how essential it is to listen, to notice, and to design with care.

I'm grateful to the team at the MBTA and to all the riders who volunteered to be filmed!

Their enthusiasm helped create such a fun environment on set. I hope the videos serve not only as information, but as invitation — to build a world that’s more accessible, more inclusive, and more human.
